The Advance Paris NOVA A-i190 is the flagship high-power integrated amplifier in the NOVA range, combining ECC81 tube preamplification with a Class AB dual-mono power architecture. Its two independent 280 VA toroidal transformers, up to 195 watts per channel into 8 ohms and extensive balanced connectivity make it exceptionally well suited to demanding loudspeakers, larger listening rooms and highly dynamic music.
The defining feature of the A-i190 is its dual power supply, using two separate 280 VA toroidal transformers. Each channel receives a dedicated power source, helping improve channel separation, soundstage width, transient response and control while reducing interaction between the left and right amplifier channels.

Expanded Balanced Connectivity
Two stereo XLR inputs and a balanced XLR preamplifier output accommodate high-quality balanced source components and external amplification.

MM and MC Vinyl Compatibility
The integrated phono stage supports both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges for greater turntable flexibility.

Flexible Future Expansion
Optional A-NTC and A-BTC modules allow network streaming and bidirectional Bluetooth to be added without replacing the amplifier.
An ECC81 tube preamplifier gives the A-i190 its organic tonal character and harmonic richness, while the Class AB output stage delivers up to 195 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 297 watts per channel into 4 ohms. This combination allows it to retain delicacy and texture at low levels while providing substantial authority during demanding musical peaks.
The A-i190 combines an ADAU1452 four-channel DSP with an eight-channel ESS9017S DAC operating in Quad Mode. The architecture independently manages two loudspeaker channels and as many as two subwoofer channels while providing high-resolution PCM and DSD conversion for connected digital sources.
What makes the A-i190 different from the A-i130?
The A-i190 uses a dual-mono power architecture with two independent 280 VA toroidal transformers, rather than the A-i130’s single 380 VA transformer. It also provides greater output power, MM/MC phono compatibility, two stereo XLR inputs and a balanced XLR preamplifier output.
What connections are available for external power amplifiers?
The A-i190 provides one stereo RCA preamplifier output and one stereo balanced XLR preamplifier output. It also includes a 12 V trigger output for coordinating power operation with compatible equipment.
Does the A-i190 support moving-coil phono cartridges?
Yes. Its phono input is compatible with both MM and MC cartridges and includes a grounding connection for the turntable.
