Van den Hul The River Hybrid 3T is an entry-level stereo RCA interconnect designed to offer high resolution and musical clarity without hefty price tags. It features a center conductor made from 19 strands of 3T True Transmission material, each 150 microns in diameter, with a coating of Linear Structured Carbon for enhanced signal fidelity. The cable is triple-layer shielded—combining 3T strands and silver-plated copper—to block interference and preserve dynamic range. Encased in a flexible blue Hulliflex® jacket, it delivers open, engaging sound and reliable performance in variable setups.
Balanced Hybrid Core with 3T and LSC for Rich Detail
At its core are 19 strands of 3T True Transmission material, each 150 microns in diameter, coated with Linear Structured Carbon for cleaner conduction. This combination allows for deeper resolution and harmonic richness without harshness. Compared with standard copper or silver cables, it reveals wider soundstage and better texture in midrange performance. It's a refined cable that delivers musical expression beyond its entry-level positioning.
Triple Shielding and Low Capacitance for Pristine Signal Integrity
The shielding structure includes three layers: a mesh of 3T conductors stitched with LSC tape, plus two layers of silver-plated copper braid. This dense shield protects against electromagnetic and RF interference that would otherwise muddy the signal. With capacitance around 37 pF/m, it maintains sharp high-frequency response and dynamic timing even over longer runs. The result is cleaner playback with clearer spatial separation and tight imaging.
